But he said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for my power is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore I will boast all the more gladly about my weaknesses, so that Christ’s power may rest on me. 2 Corinthians 12:9

I just want to say....
...one thing about the presidential campaigns. Why, why, why do we need to obtain our information of the candidates via the filter of the news media? And I mean both sides...conservative and liberal. Do we no longer think for ourselves? I wish the American public could submit questions to candidates that WE believe are important and have a forum where the politicians could respond directly to the voters of this country without a bunch of talking heads going on ad nauseum about their perspectives. And that's all I'm going to say. I'm not going to use my blog to spout off on my political opinions. I promise. :-)

Hi Susan,
I totally and completely agree! Earlier this year I got SO sick of reactive Christians labeling Obama as the anti-Christ and spreading false rumors that I wanted to vote for him just to rebel against ignorance and hype! Now I'm so sick of hearing all the retoric about McCain and Palin. I'll take the Mexican elections any Day! LOL Well, not really but I'm so sick of not feeling patriotic during a very patriotic even such as a presidential election.
Well anyway, i have to run. Joel, David and Erin (Gary's sons and daughter in-law) are coming and I'm up to my elbows in making my famous Lasagna!
love ya
Rach
